It's a shame, really. The 'included' breakfast was closed, but they forgot to tell us until AFTER we arrived! The front desk staff couldn't even be bothered to check if our room was ready. I almost thought about leaving a good review but just couldn't bring myself to. What an absolute letdown.

The hotel was old-fashioned, spent my time lovely here. The room with great bed. The venue was in an incredible and handy position very close to downtown, Hilltop, the town centre and the wharf. The swimming pool was great too. To be honest I loved how incredible the staff is, would stay here again.

The pool area was a good surprise 🌊 The room was clean, but the air conditioner was kinda loud and the place seemed a bit dated. Great for a family getaway!

Nice pool. Service at breakfast very friendly! And no throw-away dishes!
A bit old. Breakfast takes some getting used to by European standards! No sausage and cheese. No muesli and yogurt!

The grounds are very well kept.
The air conditioner was very noisy and ineffective. The hotel is situated right next to a highway, so the noise from trucks braking often disrupted our peace. While the pool area was nice, there weren't enough loungers for all the guests, disappointing.

The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were comfortable. With one exception....
There was an overpowering smell of mold in the bathroom of the room we were given. We asked for another room and overheard the maid speaking to the manager, saying that they couldn't get rid of the mold with the natural cleaners. We were given another room but no apology for the initial room. It did give us pause to consider whether we would stay there again, given the fact that the problem was known about by hotel staff and that we were given the room regardless.
